Where Are We?

Several communities neighbor Lake Andrew Township including the town of Sunburg to the west; cities of New London and Spicer to the east. The county seat, Willmar, is located south of the township. This area is home to several lakes including Norway Lake, Games Lake, Lake Andrew, Lake Florida and smaller bodies, fed by the Shakopee Creek water system.

What You’ll Find Here:

A variety of opportunities exist within the Township for those who desire to call Lake Andrew Township home as a place to get away from the traffic, noise, and the bustle of urban living and enjoy the rural way of life. Here, agricultural production areas and small businesses merge with year-round lakeside living.

Residents and visitors to our Township can enjoy the opportunity to:

  • Boat, fish, swim, kayak, canoe, or paddle board and other seasonal activities

  • Camp at Games Lake County Park or Sibley State Park

  • Hike, bike or horseback ride on the Glacial Lakes Trail and explore parks, Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, and other designated wildlife areas.
